Summer 2024/25 SeasonStarts the week of the 07 October 2024

Registration

Teams are divided into the following age groups (Summer ‘24-'25):

If you are interested in joining our club, please contact us and we can see if there are spots available in a current team (or maybe there are enough players on a waiting list to create a new team).

Register via the unique team Participant Registration Link, supplied by the registrars. If you have used PlayHQ before, use the same email address to sign in. This makes sure you use your existing profile and keeps track of your player statistics and previous payments.

You will be required to provide your child’s birth certificate before registration, so that we can determine which team to place them into. We need to be notified if your child has participated in a WABL competition in the previous season.  Based on the division he/she played, their points will carry over to the WBA competition.  He/she may need to be placed in a Grade A or B level, as per the WBA Domestic Competition Rules.

Team managers & coaches registration

Each team manager and coach needs to register for the season. There are no fees for team managers and coaches. Please register via the unique team Participant Registration Link, supplied by the registrars.

If you’re 18 or over and are registering as a coach, please have your "Working With Children" card details ready or find out how to apply for a Working With Children Check and complete the online BWA Community Coaching Course

Kidsport vouchers enable eligible Western Australian children aged 5 to 18 years to participate in community sport by offering them financial assistance of up to $150 per calendar year towards club fees. Applicants must be aged 5 to 18 years.

Applicants must be named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with their individual Centrelink Client Reference Number (CRN) clearly displayed on the uploaded card.  If your child is eligible for Kidsport you must register with your local government before registering your child with Pumas.

Please make sure your voucher is made out to ‘Padbury Junior Basketball Club’.  KidSport vouchers should only be used for the Pumas fee.  You will be able to add the voucher amount and voucher code in the Government Voucher section during the registration process.
