Registration

You will be required to provide your child’s birth certificate before registration, so that we can determine which team to place them into.

We need to be notified if your child has participated in a WABL competition in the previous season.  Based on the division he/she played, their points will carry over to the WBA competition.  He/she may need to be placed in a Grade A or B level, as per the WBA Domestic Competition Rules.

Teams are divided into the following age divisions (Summer ‘23-'24):

All players, whether existing or new MUST complete an online registration form and make payment through PlayHQ for the season they wish to play.  If you do not have a PlayHQ account, you will need to create one.  Payment of registration fees will also be compulsory when registering online through PlayHQ.

Fees cover the cost of playing singlets, training equipment, training venues, end of season awards and insurance.

Fees are broken down as follows:

  • Pumas Player Fee

  • Wanneroo Basketball Association Fee

  • Basketball WA Membership Fee (Annual)

The BWA membership is compulsory for ALL players who participate in a competition affiliated with Basketball WA and is valid for 365 days.  This fee is paid to Basketball WA, which covers players for insurance related to basketball activities.

The Pumas do offer a third sibling discount.

Should your child wish to leave the club part way through the season, a $30 administration fee will be charged to process any refunds.

Our registrars will be happy to answer any questions, should you need information on joining the club.  Please contact our girls registrar or our boys registrar
